Christians in Iraq, Now and in the Future
From the 22nd of September until the 30th of September 2016, DTRC Europe organized a 5-day conference. Four days in Germany and one day at the European Parliament in Brussels with support of two members of the European Parliament amongst which Arne Gericke from the Familien-Partei Deutschland. The conference addressed the situation of Christians from Iraq and constituted an encounter-platform for groups from Western and Eastern parts of the world, concerned about the situation of Christians.
The conference was succesful in developing a constructive plan which enhances the situation of Iraqi Christians on political level as well as on developmental level, based on the recommendations of several institutions from Germany and other countries.
